Leander has experienced explosive growth over the past decade, transforming from a sleepy outpost into one of the most dynamic suburbs in the Austin metro. Located north of Cedar Park along US-183, Leander offers an appealing combination of newer housing stock, excellent Leander ISD schools, and a rapidly expanding retail and dining scene.

The Capital MetroRail Red Line connects Leander directly to downtown Austin, making it one of the few suburbs with commuter rail access. Master-planned communities like Crystal Falls, Travisso, and Bryson feature resort-style pools, community centers, and miles of trails. The city's newer town center developments are creating walkable gathering spaces with restaurants and entertainment, giving Leander an increasingly self-sufficient identity beyond its role as a bedroom community.
