A one-dancehall town with old Texas soul
About
Living in Coupland
Coupland is a tiny Williamson County community about 10 miles east of Taylor, known almost entirely for the historic Coupland Dancehall — one of the last surviving old Texas dance halls. With a population barely over 300, Coupland is a one-stoplight (actually zero-stoplight) kind of place.
The surrounding area offers affordable farm and ranch land in a part of Williamson County that is still genuinely rural, though Samsung's nearby semiconductor campus in Taylor is bringing change to the wider region.
Why Coupland?
- Historic Coupland Dancehall
- Affordable rural land in Williamson County
- Near Samsung semiconductor campus growth

Angie's Guide to Coupland
Coupland is not really a place people move to — it is a place people move near. The dancehall is legendary, and the surrounding land is still affordable. With Taylor booming from Samsung, some of my more forward-thinking clients are looking at Coupland acreage as a smart long-term investment.
