From stunning canyon and ridge views to resort communities with private airports, Lakeway has it all.

If you can’t judge a city by its cover, you can most certainly judge it by its neighborhoods. And as far as that goes, Lakeway has some of the best. Don’t believe me? Well, you’re about to see for yourself. From exclusive communities with stunning ridge and canyon views to a resort community with a private airport, here are the top neighborhoods in Lakeway:

  1. Rough Hollow - This resort-style community offers mind-blowing views of the Hill Country, direct lake access, and many amenities. Activities include holiday celebrations, pet-friendly events, and fitness classes. There's a yacht club, marina, and a water-themed community called Highland Village, with access to a lazy river, pools, and restaurants. The median home price in this 1800-acre community is $1,011,931, but it's worth the cost for a resort-style living.
  2. Serene Hills - This luxury community offers breathtaking views and is only 21 miles away from downtown Austin. It's close to nature, with only 114 acres for development and tons of hiking and biking trails. Residents can enjoy the beauty of Lake Travis, excellent schools, and various restaurants. The starting price for homes here is $1.4 million.
  3. Lakeway - This prestigious resort community on Lake Travis' south shore offers marinas, golf courses, tennis courts, a private airport, parks, a hotel and spa, and 500 acres of greenbelts. Lakeway started as a second home and retirement community but has now evolved into a pastiche of natural beauty and man-made wonders. The recreational activities, quality schools, and stunning views make Lakeway an ideal place to call home.
  4. Sweetwater - Although technically not located in Lakeway, it's still a part of the highly sought-after Lake Travis ISD school district. This 1,400-acre planned community boasts breathtaking views of canyons, ridges, and open space, making it a nature lover's paradise. The homes in this exclusive community are designed with European flair, featuring wood beams, stained stucco, and native stone. Prices range from $499 for a condo to over $749k for a single-family home.
